Basket Range has two appliances (trucks) housed in our station building, one is a Rural Firefighting unit, with a call sign of  Basket Range 14, and the other is a Rural / Urban unit with a call sign of  Basket Range 24.

Basket Range 14 carries 1,000 litres of water, and is fitted with equipment suitable to fight grass and scrub fires, as well as carrying a chainsaw.

Basket Range 24 has the same rural equipment and chainsaw as our 14, but also carries two Breathing Apparatus sets to protect firefighters during house and car fires where smoke is a problem, and carries 2,500 litres of water. It also carries equipment to deal with traffic control, and oil spills.
